Bilfinger Berger BOT

Bilfinger Berger BOT Inc. is the subsidiary of Bilfinger Berger AG, which has responsibility for developing and managing transportation and social infrastructure concessions in North America. Based in Toronto and with an office in Vancouver, the company has raised $1.2 billion of capital for infrastructure projects in Canada. Bilfinger Berger BOT Inc. is the consortium leader and sole equity investor in the Kicking Horse Canyon Phase 2 and Golden Ears Bridge projects.

The concessions portfolio comprises 20 projects including:
  • The Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia
  • The Gloucestershire Royal and Hull Women & Children’s Hospitals in England
  • Multiple primary care clinics in England
  • 18 high schools and college campuses in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland
  • Two correctional facilities in Victoria, Australia
  • The British Embassy in Berlin, Germany
Bilfinger Berger AG, the Multi Service Group, has annual revenues of over $10 billion and employs 55,000 people worldwide in civil engineering, building construction, facilities management, industrial services and concessions. John Laing Infrastructure

John Laing is a specialist owner, operator and manager of public sector infrastructure assets in the UK and internationally, with a market capitalisation of $1.8 billion. In 2001, after more than 150 years as a major contractor, John Laing restructured, and adopted a strategic focus on investment in public infrastructure.

John Laing has built an enviable reputation as a market leader in the privately financed form of infrastructure renewal and modernisation now recognised as a key element of public sector procurement policy.

The concessions portfolio has more than 50 varied projects including:
  • The award winning Ministry of Defence HQ and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, both in London
  • Scotland’s largest schools PPPs, in South Lanarkshire, Glasgow and Edinburgh
  • Ground breaking health and education projects in many of the UK’s major cities.
John Laing is a leader in the PPP provision of road and railway infrastructure, hospitals, police, criminal justice, education, regeneration and defence projects. More recently John Laing has become an active provider of primary healthcare facilities under the LIFT initiative and has established itself as a major player in the housing regeneration sector.
